The summer may be coming to an end, but don’t worry! We have come up with a checklist to ensure you are prepared to start classes in the Fall, so you can spend the rest of your time squeezing every last bit out of summer!

  1. 1. Register in classes and academic advising

Contact your Faculty or Federated College directly to book an advising appointment. You can also view this step-by-step video to help you get started.

  2. 2. Register for orientation!

Get to know your University and prepare for the coming year by attending Fall Orientation! This event allows you to meet other new students and jumpstart your semester!

  3. 3. Get Ready for your first day of classes

Get your Student ID. This will allow you access to things on campus such as our Fitness Centre as well as our U-Pass, both of which have unlimited use and are included in your student fees!

Print off your schedule in order to make sure your first day goes smoothly. You can also bring your schedule to Orientation and our student volunteers will help you find your classes!

Print off your book list and purchase your Textbooks at the bookstore on campus.

The beginning of the school year is always a bit nerve wracking, but once you have these basics covered, we can guarantee the first week back will be filled with fun and excitement!
