Schedules, textbooks, and readings—oh my! The back to school season is right around the corner and while it’s important to enjoy the end of the summer, it’s also important to get ready for the new semester. Here’s a few ideas to make sure your September is full of success.

Go to Orientation
Starting at university for the first time? Register for new student orientation. Explore campus, discover the services and resources available, meet other students, and make new friends. Orientation day is a great opportunity to see the university in person, ask questions, and alleviate those first day jitters. Not a new student? Get involved as an orientation leader and share your experiences with others!

Visit the Learning Centre
Getting back into the groove of school and studying can be tough — especially if you’ve had the summer off. Take advantage of studying supports, tutoring, library resources, and more. KPU’s learning centreslearning centres offer in person and online tutoring, peer support, and host workshops to help you hone in on your study skills and boost your grades.

Get Social
Love to tweet? Do you double tap on Instagram? Hit like and share on Facebook? Connect with your college or university on various social media platforms. Social media feeds update frequently and can be a great way to get up-to-date information, see exciting behind the scenes photos, and connect with other students.
