Description:

The Office Administration and Technology Diploma program equips students with the hands-on skills required to excel in key areas of office administration. Students will be trained in basic bookkeeping, record and data management, professional document design and production, social media marketing, event planning, project management, and a range of professional communication and efficiency skills. They will become proficient in the professional use of a range of Microsoft Office applications for business purposes, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and will become functional in the use of Microsoft Publisher and Access. Students will also become familiar with the use of computerized accounting software, Adobe InDesign, and cloud-based sharing and collaboration tools.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will have the skills and experience to be employed in an entry or junior level office administration position. With experience and/or further training, he or she will be able to progress to higher-level positions.

    Applicants are required to have a high school diploma (or equivalent) or mature student status; Grade 10 Math, or pass the college mathematics assessment; and Grade 10 English or pass the college admissions test.
