On this BA, you'll explore these issues through a contemporary lens and with the imperative to decolonise education.
This course is for you if you want to understand our social world and contribute to positive social change.
At Sussex, we have a long tradition of embracing diverse social experience and critical community activism. Throughout your studies, you'll focus on social sciences in action in communities and societies. On your course, you'll: explore applied fields including education, social work, law, gender, development and media studies; gain a real-world understanding of themes ranging from global childhoods, to social media, to mental health and madness; and develop practical and research skills.
