This new Masters in Social Science, based in the School of Sociology, offers advanced, interdisciplinary academic training in two inter-related and pressing issues of the 21st century: racial / ethnic difference and migration. The programme will develop student knowledge and research skills in the areas of migration and race/ethnicity based on the study, discussion and application of: cutting edge scholarship and policy research; key debates and practices in current policy areas in Ireland and Europe; and the impacts of these issues on everyday, social and civic life. |
