The Pharmacy Technician program at the KLC College: Healthcare, Business, Education is a 49 week diploma program registered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities. It provides students with comprehensive technical and practical based experience and strives to meet the requirements set by NAPRA (National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities),CPTEA (Canadian Pharmacy Technician Educators Association) and the Ontario College of Pharmacists. The Pharmacy Technician program of KLC has been awarded the status of Provisional Accreditation by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs for a three year term 2010-2013.
