Learn how to push athletes to their peak performance in this dynamic area of sport science. With a degree that follows the high standards of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association you'll benefit from a range of specialist strength and conditioning modules, leaving you well-placed to become a top strength and conditioning coach. Our purpose built strength and conditioning suite is the perfect environment for teaching, research and training and is used by the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA).


As well as training within the university’s facilities, you will also have access to professional teams through our links with Bristol Rugby, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and GB ice hockey. Several times a year students carry out testing on professional teams such as Team GB women's ice hockey at their camps in Sheffield and Bracknell and at our facilities, too.
