Description:

The BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Physics degree aims to provide a broad education in mathematics, including pure and applied mathematics, allowing you to prepare for a range of career options as well as combining this with fundamental and applied physics. Along with problem-solving skills and computational training, this degree aims to provide you with a well-rounded experience.

This program meets the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation, (awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications), when it is followed by subsequent training and experience in employment to obtain equivalent competences to those specified by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for taught masters degrees. This program is also recognized by the Institute of Physics.
