Lakehead University offers one of the top entrance scholarship programs to direct from high school Canadian students in the country. Canadians studying outside of a provincial high school will be considered on an individual basis. Academic Entrance Scholarships are automatically awarded, with no application required, to scholars entering Lakehead University directly from a recognized Canadian high school curriculum.
There are 4 levels of the award:
- 95.0% + = $16,000 ($4,000 x 4 years)
- 90.0% - 94.9% = $10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years)
- 85.0% - 89.9% = $5,000($1,250 x 4 years)
- 80.0% - 84.9% = $3,000($750 x 4 years)
