Description | This program awards a Bachelor and Master. This is an innovative and intensive four-year degree that draws on the wide range of subjects and modules within the existing BA programme. At the end of the three-year BA programme, you will have a deep knowledge of the liberal arts and cultures within the Western tradition (literature, history, philosophy, language, art), as well as highly developed research, presentation and writing skills. You will also participate in dedicated classes on various key elements in the history of ideas (e.g. rhetoric, The Enlightenment and modernism).
You will be able to specialise in different subjects in a variety of ways, including: a traditional subject (e.g. Irish, Film, Italian, Art History), an interdisciplinary period subject (e.g. Victorian studies, medieval studies and subjects both within and beyond the College of Arts & Celtic Studies), or a national tradition (Irish studies, American studies, French). | | |
