Whether you want to gain foundational writing and communication skills for a range of careers or have a specific interest such as creative writing, public relations, teaching or intercultural communications, NIC’s English courses will prepare you for university and career success.

You can study English through the Associate of Arts and University Studies programs, or take individual courses as electives.

TRANSFERABILITY

You can complete up to two years of your English degree at NIC and then transfer directly into the third year of an English degree at university. You can also work toward your Associate of Arts degree to maximize your transfer opportunities or work with an NIC advisor develop a custom transfer plan to UVic, VIU, UBC and beyond.
