We had the pleasure of hosting 350 international students who were wrapping up their master's programs or exchange studies at Chalmers. And what better way to bid them farewell than with a Swedish summer party! Our guests were treated to an iconic strawberry cake, while being serenaded by Chalmers professors Samuel Bengmark and Torbjörn Lundh and their band, The Discrete Group. Their jazzy melodies set the perfect backdrop for the festivities filled with laughter and friendship. In the spirit of friendly competition, our guests showcased their knowledge of all things Chalmers in a quiz, with Alberto Ridolfi emerging victorious! Congratulations, Alberto! Our guests took a moment to reflect on their time in Sweden and at Chalmers, offering valuable advice to incoming students embarking on the same journey: 🌟 Learn a bit of Swedish—it'll enrich your experience. 🌟 Trust us, it gets even better than you can imagine. 🌟 Embrace leisure time and enjoy every moment. 🌟 Don't be shy or afraid—engage with others; the more you connect, the more fun you'll have. 🌟 Seize the opportunity to bond with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. 🌟 Remember, it's okay to be different—be open to embracing diversity in all its forms. Thank you for being a part of our Chalmers family, and we wish you all continued success and happiness wherever your journey may lead you! 🌍🎓 #GlobalConnections #InternationalStudents #wearechalmers Weilong Chen Silan Karadag Halime Selimoglu ANIRUDH ARUN Yadhunandan MJ Vincent Lefebvre Juan Pablo Avila Rodriguez Sri Harsha D.
