Concordia University is a large, urban, English-language institution offering more than 500 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the arts, sciences, business, fine arts, engineering and computer sciences. Attending Concordia means studying side by side with almost 44,000 students who come from 150 countries, and living in one of the most vibrant, affordable cities in North America.

Applying to Concordia has never been easier. As long as you have access to the internet, a valid Visa or Mastercard and the $90 tuition fee (CDN, non-refundable), you can get started! Please read the following information to learn about our deadlines and international admission requirements:

Application Deadlines
Undergraduate deadlines vary per semester:
February 1 – Fall semester (September)
September 1 – Winter semester (January)

Language Requirements
The minimum acceptance scores are:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
Internet-based: 75
Paper-based test: 550

IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5

MELAB (University of Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85

International Documents
Students who have studied at institutions outside of North America must arrange to have their school mail an official transcript directly to the Undergraduate Application Centre.

All transcripts should be in the original language. If you submit certificates in a language other than English or French, you must submit a copy translated into either English or French by a certified translator. If the certificate does not detail the subjects taken and the grades achieved, a certified statement of these from an authorized official of the institution should also be included.

Immigration Procedures
Anyone other than Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents who wishes to pursue studies in the province of Quebec for a period of more than six months must obtain both a Quebec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ) and a Canadian Study Permit before proceeding to Canada. Information on how to obtain these documents is mailed with acceptance letters. As it may take several months to obtain a Study Permit, the process should be started immediately upon receiving a letter of acceptance from Concordia University.

Online Application
