Welcome to Canada!
Studying in a new country can be a challenge but Seneca College will assure you a pleasant experience once you move to one of the greatest cities in North America. We begin by meeting you at the airport.
If you don’t have friends or family in Canada then consider living in our on-campus residence or you can research living options ahead of time. Search for student housing or room rentals near your campus. You could do this by visiting Seneca’s off-campus housing website (http://www.senecac.on.ca/housing/) or a simple 2-minute Google search will give you reliable results.
At the beginning of each semester, students will come across various activities being organized to keep students involved. All students are encouraged to attend events such as trips, BBQs, sports, etc. to meet other students. The International office also has events specifically for International students, organized all year long with a monthly schedule.
Various other services such as our on-campus health centre, fully equipped gymnasium, computer labs, libraries and tutorial services are available to all our students.
Be well prepared for our winter months (make sure you have a nice thick jacket with gloves and a scarf). Have all your paper work well-organized (eg. acceptance letters, school time-table, addresses, contact information, etc.) so you can be assisted easily.
Drop by the English Language Institute or our International Student Services who help our international students with all their needs.
