Step into SAIT

As the Fall semester approaches, there are several events that students should keep in mind for the upcoming year. On August 31 SAIT will host a free workshop entitled Step into SAIT. This workshop will help students transition to post secondary study, develop effective study and time management skills and learn ways to manage stress.

In the fall, there are two mandatory orientations for international students. September 1st is orientation for new international students where they will get information about immigration, Canadian culture and how to access other resources that they will need during their stay in Canada.  September 2nd and 3rd is program specific orientation. Dates and times for each program will be listed on mySAIT.ca. In mid-September the International Centre is planning various group activities where students can meet other international students and participate in fun events. In the past popular events have included: horseback riding, a visit to Banff and a trip to West Edmonton Mall.
