Our program leads to a recommendation for teacher certification which is respected world-wide. - International Perspectives Award for Teacher Education
In recognition of the contributions international students make to enrich the learning environment for all students in our program, the Ontario Institute for Studies In Education of the University of Toronto is pleased to offer the International Perspectives Award for Teacher Education.
For the 2013-14 academic year, five awards of $1,000 each will be made to five international students on Study Permits admitted to the OISE Consecutive Bachelor of Education program.
Applications become available after admission. Interested applicants must submit an application for this award.
The University of Toronto’s Centre for International Experience
To help make your experience with us here at OISE and the University of Toronto a successful one, the Centre for International Experience offers many services and supports throughout the year.
The CIE offers: immigration counseling; reception and orientation events; international student advising and employment counseling. The Centre for International Experience (CIE) also brings you a wide range of cultural events, social events and activities designed to offer you a taste of Canadian and world cultures.
Make sure the CIE is your first stop on campus, and make sure you visit them often throughout the year.
