ILAC’s University Pathway Program Offers Students a Direct “Path” to Higher Education in Canada

Every year, hundreds of International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) graduates enter universities and colleges across Canada. They represent a growing number of international students who come to study English at ILAC before continuing into higher education programs in Canada.

Since starting its University Pathway Program in 2005, ILAC has signed partnership agreements with55Canadian universities and colleges, offering students a variety of options and destinations for completing a post-secondary education in Canada.

The International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) is the most awarded English language school in the world and has won the Top Choice Award for its University Pathway Program 6 years in a row. ILAC’s degree preparation courses include free academic counselling and a customized study plan to help students choose the right “path” to meet their goals.

ILAC receives over 10,000 students a year from 70 different countries, many of whom choose ILAC as a direct pathway into university or college.Students who successfully complete the ILAC Pre-Degree Certificate can enter the program of their choice without a TOEFL or IELTS exam.*

In order to prepare for university both academically and socially, ILAC students take English classes during the day and live with Canadian families so they can practice their English. In the evenings and weekends they participate in ILAC organized activities that feature local attractions and events.
