Every year many international students arrive at Brescia University College with the desire to become leaders on campus and beyond. While completing their academic courses, these students utilize their free time to earn some money, gain professional experience, and improve their English speaking skills.

Christina Lord, International Program Co-ordinator at Brescia, is dedicated to helping students settle into both their studies and their work in Canada. Brescia’s Business Office also has a full-time Financial Aid Officer to ensure that all of your questions are answered when it comes to the Work Study Program for students.

Whether you work as an intern in the communications department helping to write media releases or as a student in the registrar’s office helping to organize campus tours, all of the work study placements will help you gain the practical work experience needed after graduation.

International students may apply to various offered positions based on their skills, talents, interests, availability, goals, and ambitions at different departments at Brescia.

Students can complete their tasks remotely within their own working environment, or at the office to enjoy the campus working atmosphere, based on the duties and commitments of the job. Students will not work more than 15 hours per week to ensure their school work is still a priority.
