Berlitz CanadaAt Berlitz Canada, we believe there’s no better way to learn a language than by surrounding yourself with its native culture and people—both in the classroom and in the real world.

With that in mind, in addition to the classroom, Berlitz Canada offers international students many opportunities to participate in its Student Internship Program, available through the Berlitz Learning Centers in Toronto and Vancouver. This program incorporates paid or unpaid internships where students are placed in their field of work for a minimum of 4 weeks or a maximum of 24 weeks, depending on your length of study. For example, students study for a minimum of 1 month and then do their work experience for the same amount of time. These internship positions allow students to gain valuable work experience in their chosen fields and put their language skills to use for them. Internships are available in more than 20 fields including accounting, architecture, business, engineering, law, travel and tourism and much more.

Throughout more than 30 years of experience in Canada, Berlitz Internship Programs have become the premier choice for more than 10,000 international students who want to learn English while also immersing themselves in the Canadian culture.

Our Berlitz Method® is a conversational teaching style based on listening and speaking rather than on memorization alone. On each regular lesson, conversation takes place in your target language with highly-trained, native fluent instructors and simulates real-life situations, so that you’ll master speaking first and writing second.
