International students who attend the Academy of Design, the Toronto Film School, or the School of Engineering Technology and Computing, and benefit from resources that will assist in a smooth transition to studying in Canada.

Students are provided with guided instruction from our International Services Department. Toronto is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world, and our campuses reflect this multiculturalism. It is a phenomenal city to explore the unlimited opportunities that Canada offers, while gaining a top-notch education. International students receive an orientation package that outlines services such as housing opportunities, from renting, living with roommates, or Student HomeStay Services. Student HomeStay Services connects a student with a hosting family who can provide room and board, provide language assistance as required, and can help ease a student into Canadian culture.

Students who require English language upgrading are connected with various language resources such as the Tutoring Program within RCC Institute of Technology, or with joint programs, such as the EC English Language Centres. When an international student arrives in Canada, RCC Institute of Technology is pleased to offer Airport Reception Service where students will be met at Pearson International Airport, and will be assisted in travelling to pre-arranged accommodations.
