UFV

Nestled in the beautiful Fraser Valley just one hour east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a fully accredited, public university that enrolls approximately 16,000 students each year. UFV has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission, with regional centres in Hope and Agassiz, and a growing presence in Chandigarh, India.

A teaching university with a focus on excellence, UFV offers more than 100 programs, including two master’s degrees, three post-degree certificates, 15 bachelor’s degrees, majors, minors, and extended minors in more than 30 subject areas, and Co-op options for paid work experience.

Our 800 international students come from more than 40 countries around the world to study, live, and work in one of the most culturally diverse communities in Canada. In addition to receiving an excellent education, students can volunteer and participate in many different clubs and associations, sports teams, community dinners, tours, and special cultural events such as International Week and Abbotsford Cultural Festival.

The International Student Association (ISA) celebrates diversity in our university. The ISA organizes trips, events, and activities that bring Canadian and international students together to socialize, learn and have fun in a friendly and inclusive environment.

UFV also offers a Volunteer to Work program which helps students to get involved in the community, improve skills, network and create contacts, improve resumes, and make lifelong friendships.
