Studying abroad in Canada is a big life change, however it comes with many benefits such as great education opportunities and access to career building tools.

Students choose the University of Waterloo not only for our outstanding reputation, but also for our co-operative education program– a great stepping-stone to get you to your career.

As part of their degree, Waterloo students can include 4-month paid jobs with employers such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Disney and Microsoft. With 4,500 employers, students have more choice to apply to jobs that suit their personal interests and goals.

Receiving a degree is important in order to land your dream job and gaining the work experience that goes with it is just as important. This makes the co-op program unique because students are able to connect their classroom learning to the real world.

Students are able earn money to pay for their education and receive up to 2 years of paid work experience. They make on average from $37,000 to $77,000 by the time they graduate!
