Work And Study At Carleton University!
Taking advantage of work opportunities while you are a student at Carleton is a great way to start building a career with Canadian experience. You can graduate with a university degree and an impressive resume! Full-time international students studying at Carleton may be eligible for a number of paid work opportunities while studying.
Students may be eligible for part-time jobs on or off campus and may work up to 20 hours per week while studying. Many undergraduate programs also have a Co-operative Education (“co-op”) option. Co-op is designed to help students get paid work experience in their field of study. In these programs students alternate semesters of full-time study and full-time work.
At Carleton we recognize the value that work experience can have on your study experience and your career goals! We have many resources in place for students seeking guidance on obtaining student employment. Attend our networking events, career workshops or come in to get one-on-one assistance with resume writing and interview skills! Our students have direct access to an online database of on-campus and co-op job opportunities.
