Now is an excellent time to start thinking about applying for admission at Concordia University. The deadline for undergraduate applications is March 1.

Your first step: choose your program. Where do you see yourself? You have the option of specifying up to three different programs on your application. Rank them in order of preference, since our admissions advisors will evaluate your application in that order.

Concordia’s programs are rated among the best in the world, with special recognition for strengths in education, art and design, communication and media studies, accounting and finance, English literature, engineering, linguistics, and psychology. Browse a complete list of all your options at concordia.ca/programs.

To choose wisely, you’ll need to keep in mind three things:

• How confident are you that you’ll have the grades you need to get into your top-choice program?

• Are you on track to complete the required courses?

• Have you looked into any other special admission requirements?

Examples of things you could be asked to submit along with your application: a portfolio showcasing your work; an audition video; a letter of intent outlining your academic goals; a letter of recommendation. Some programs require a language test or an interview. Click on “Program details,” and then see “Program requirements.”

If you know your marks are borderline for getting into your preferred program, make sure you include at least one program choice that you’re very likely to get into, given your academic background.

If you have questions, our recruiters would love to chat with you – so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

When you’re ready to apply, go to concordia.ca/apply.

Expect a decision within eight weeks or so. To track the status of your application throughout the admissions process, log into MyConcordia.ca and go to your Student Centre.
