Three fun ways to enjoy Montreal over the holidays.

It's got to be one of the best things about going to Concordia University: the chance to soak up the city of Montreal, named the best student city on the planet in 2017.

We've got some ideas for enjoying Montreal this summer.

GO ON A TREASURE HUNT FOR YOUR TASTE BUDS

Indulge in some ultra-delicious culinary treats and get to know Quebec cuisine by sampling food from Montreal's gourmet food trucks, which roam throughout the downtown area. Track the trucks here .

PARTAKE IN A FESTIVAL

Maybe you've heard of it? Osheaga is one of the most popular outdoor music festivals in Canada. Past headliners include Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Radiohead, Eminem, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other festivals that draw top talent and big crowds: the Montreal International Jazz Festival and Just for Laughs comedy festival. To name but a few.

OWN THE STREETS BY BIKE

Find out how it feels to ride on two wheels in the most bicycle-friendly city in North America. We've got tons of bike paths and it's easy to hop on a Bixi (a cross between a bicycle and a taxi - get it?), part of our revolutionary bike sharing system.

FIND YOUR FAVOURITE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Our guide to some of the most unique and charming parts of the city can help you discover the city outside the downtown core.

CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN

Montrealers treasure this jewel in our crown, the verdant Mont-Royal. Sweeping views of downtown and a good part of the Island of Montreal reward those who make it to the top. For an affordable place to stay that's a key part of the city's history, consider the so-central Grey Nuns, Concordia's student residence. You can take a tour of the campus while you're there. We'd love to show you around.
