Many Concordia Programs are Still Open to Applicants!

There's still time to apply to university for the fall, and high school closures won't prevent your application.

Although many deadlines for applications have passed, some universities maintain "rolling admissions" for certain programs, meaning they continue accepting applications throughout the year, until they have accepted their full capacity of applicants.

Concordia University in Montreal is one such university, where some programs (although not all) are still accepting applications for the Fall 2020 semester. Perhaps you were planning on taking a gap year to travel, and the COVID-19 pandemic has put those plans on hold indefinitely. Or perhaps you weren't sure you wanted to apply to university right away, but are now thinking that you wish you had. Four faculties at Concordia University

Concordia University offers programs in four faculties: Arts and Sciences, Fine Arts, the John Molson School of Business, and the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science. There are programs in all four faculties that are currently accepting applicants for Fall 2020; an up-to-date list of all the programs that remain open to applicants can be found on Concordia's website.

Starting your application is as easy as creating a profile in Concordia's online MyConcordia Student Centre. You may start your application and return to it a few days later when you have gathered additional information.

Your high school transcripts

Worried about getting your official transcripts, since most schools remain closed due to COVID-19? Given how widespread this situation is, universities including Concordia are accepting unofficial transcripts in the interim, until schools are able to begin sending our official copies again. Likewise, students whose final semesters of high school were interrupted by school closures can still apply; your application will be assessed based on the courses you completed.
