Choose the right program for you

At Laurier, you can select from 10 different undergraduate program options to pair with your LLB degree. Whatever your interests are, Laurier offers a number of programs designed to kick start your journey towards a career in law. Programs like Criminology, English, Human Rights, and Honours Science give you the strong academic foundation and invaluable support network you’ll utilize when continuing your education abroad.

The Laurier-Sussex Advantage

Laurier’s pathway to the University of Sussex gives successful candidates who maintain a minimum B average at Laurier a guaranteed spot to study abroad in the United Kingdom — without needing an LSAT. This allows you to focus on your studies and get involved on campus during your first two years of study at Laurier. You’ll then head to Sussex for the next three years to earn your LLB before returning to Laurier to complete the requirements of your undergraduate program. In your final year at Laurier, you will take courses that prepare you to write the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams which are required to legally practice law in Canada. Your final year is tailored to this unique program so you can receive the academic support for the accreditation process upon returning to Canada.

Tuition discount at Sussex

We know paying for your university education can be a big financial investment. At Laurier, we take financial health seriously and offer a wide variety of funding opportunities for you throughout your degree. Starting fall 2025, the University of Sussex is offering a 20% tuition discount to Laurier students enrolled in the Laurier-Sussex Law program. The tuition discount is for all three years of study at Sussex, and worth approximately $8,000 CAD.
