Well suited for those with a passion for food and a love of science, this four-year degree program is designed for students seeking careers in the hospitality, culinary, food services and food science sectors through a unique combination of food science and culinary skills.

Through a blend of food science and culinary arts courses, students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become professionals within the ever-evolving field of hospitality and tourism.
Get granular with classes encompassing food chemistry, food microbiology, sensory evaluation, food processing, culinary science, and food service management, with a focus on food product development and enhancing the nutritional value of food products.
The core science courses are perfectly complemented with advanced skills in food preparation, cooking, baking, safety and sanitation, management, and leadership. All the ingredients you need for a successful career!

Your classes aren’t the only sweet treat about this program, you also get the chance to put your skills to the test in a real-world environment! Through applied research in product development, you’ll have the opportunity to research, create and market your own products as well as participate in two practical co-op placement opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals and gain valuable experience.
