How to Plan Your Day at Concordia's Open House

Concordia's biggest event of the year is back.

Coming up on Saturday, February 17, Concordia University is welcoming future students through its doors for Open House! This is the perfect opportunity to explore Concordia's two vibrant campuses, get advice from professors and current students, and see how you fit in with the community.

There's lots to do during Open House — let's look at how to make the best of your time there:

1. Decide which campus to begin at

Concordia's programs are divided between the bustling downtown Sir George Williams Campus and the picturesque Loyola Campus. They're linked by a free shuttle bus, so you can conveniently explore both — but check the schedule before setting out so you know which campus has the programming you want.

2. If you're from out of province...

Welcome to Montreal! Ontario students may want to attend the "Students from Ontario" presentation or drop by the Financial Aid and Awards booth on Sir George Williams Campus to hear about the new Out-of-Province Awards.

Our friends from south of the Quebec border should check out the "An American in Canada" presentation for all there is to know about studying in Canada.

3. Find your faculty of interest

Each of Concordia's four powerhouse faculties will be hosting presentations and student showcases to get a closer look at your dream program. You can also chat with professors and current students for their advice and insider insights. Here's some things you might want to ask:

• What are your courses like?
• Can I study abroad or do an internship?
• What is unique about the program?
• Why did you choose Concordia?

4. Grab a snack break

Have a round of popcorn, cotton candy, and BeaverTails — all for FREE!

5. Take a tour

Stretch your legs while exploring our world-class facilities for learning, creating, and just hanging out. See what a 21st century library looks like or check out one of our residence rooms with a current student!

6. Start your application!

If you're sold on Concordia by the end of the day, head to the Application Centre in EV-5.709 on Sir George Williams Campus or CC-215 on Loyola Campus. We'll help you fill out an application on the spot — just upload your documents when you get home!
