Speakers: ANDREA POR - Art Director & CHRISTINA ROCHE - Copywriter, Zulu Alpha Kilo

Christina Roche & Andrea Por paint a realistic picture of juniors in an award-winning independent ad agency. Andrea, an art director, was one of the first students to come on board in Zulu Alpha Kilo’s revolutionary “employeeship” paid internship program. After being hired on full-time, she recommended school chum Christina to be her copywriter partner, and the pair have been impressing CEO & founder Zak Mroueh and clients ever since. Both women share the experience of choosing their current fields of expertise after their initial diplomas did not garner real-world jobs. It doesn’t get more real than this for those wondering what it’s really like to work in a top creative agency.

Hosted by: Applied Arts Magazine – Canada’s foremost voice for visual communicators for over 30 years.

This event is part of Applied Arts free 2018 Creative Futures Grad Week Virtual Speaker Series.
