Event Description

You are invited to join a webinar about the University of Northern British Columbia's IASK (Integrated Analytical Skills and Knowledge) Program!

IASK is taught by a team of award-winning professors, including two national 3M Teaching Award winners, in six courses that will introduce you to the world of research, academic scholarship and university life. This unique program features an integrated curriculum that will give you the opportunity to explore a number of disciplines in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The three fall semester and three winter semester courses are integrated by themes and “big questions” about the world we live in today and the traditions and history that inform and shape it. While this curriculum design enables cohorts of students to work together in a variety of ways for a sustained period, it also allows you to take two other courses of your choice outside the program in each semester. In-class work is enhanced by field trips and experiential learning opportunities that provide hands-on interaction with the ideas and concepts featured in the courses.

Students of today’s generation need to acquire the skills that will allow them to be flexible, adaptable and innovative so that every door is open to them after graduation. Here is where you start!
