When you attend an info session with a recruiter from the Office of Future Students you’ll get an overview of VIU. In this special version for students from outside of BC, we'll add a bit more information that you may like to know. Where is Nanaimo, anyway?

We’ll review the variety of programs VIU offers and the process for becoming a student, including provincial equivalencies. We will also give you a good picture of the services and supports for students that VIU has available.

We try to cover the wide range of supports and student life activities, which will include things like:

• athletics
• clubs
• research
• work integrated learning opportunities
• student housing

We leave time in the presentation to answer your questions. We’ll also make sure you know how to connect with us for more information or help.
