Event Description

Figuring out how to pay for College can be a daunting process. At Centennial College, we are committed to offering you multiple options to help finance your education so you can focus on learning. Information is the key to success, and we want you to be fully informed. In this session, we will explore a variety of ways to help you fund your education, empowering you with the resources to secure as much assistance as possible.

Here are some options we will explore:

  • OSAP – The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides both loans and grants to help pay for the costs of your post-secondary studies. This program is funded by both the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada. You can apply for only grants, which do not need to be repaid. Get an estimate of the amount of loans or grants you are eligible to receive with OSAP’s aid estimator. Almost every program offered at Centennial is OSAP eligible!

  • Dollars to Doorways – This is the first step you should take when applying to scholarships and bursaries once you are enrolled at Centennial College. By completing this short questionnaire, you will be invited to apply for any scholarships and/or bursaries you may be eligible for.

  • Application Scholarships – Scholarships do not need to be repaid, and are funded by generous donations of individuals or corporations interested in investing in your future. Learn more about the scholarships the academic school offers.

  • Bursaries – Bursaries do not need to be paid back, and are offered on a seasonal basis to help offset the costs of your education. and learn more about your options such as the “Bring IT" Bursary which provides $500 to assist with the cost of computers for first year students.
