This certificate program will provide the administration skills and tourism industry knowledge needed to work in front-line and administrative positions in tourism operations. This program provides academic and work experience practicum components to provide students with the opportunity to apply their academic learning to the workplace. Graduates of the program will find employment in the offices of outdoor recreation operations, visitor information centres, resorts, accommodations, attractions, transportation companies, tour operators, event planners, tourism associations, and Chambers of Commerce. Self-employed tourism operators may take the program in order to learn how to handle the administration required in their own businesses. |
