This new, innovative and dynamic occupational therapy programme will provide an outstanding learning experience for those wanting to join this well-established and valued profession. Combining academic and practice placement components, UCLan offers a three year full-time BSc course to enable students to develop all the skills, knowledge and attributes required to meet the Health and Care Professions Council requirements for registration as an occupational therapist. Key features of the course include a small student cohort, the use of novel technology and authentic case studies to support learning, superb clinical skills environments and a programme placed within a Faculty of Health and Wellbeing ensuring a range of opportunities for inter-disciplinary education.
