The Master of Education in Health Sciences Education (MEd in HSE) program extends the knowledge and skills of health sciences educators in the areas of educational pedagogy, educational research, and inter-professional leadership within the collaborative context of the communities of practice of professional educators.
This is a part-time program designed for working health professionals and health professional educators. Courses are delivered through a blended format comprised of synchronous/asynchronous online sessions and 1-2 face-to-face classes. Only one course is delivered completely face-to-face. |

The Department's minimum admission requirements are an undergraduate degree with an admission GPA of at least 3.0 on the 4-point scale from the University of Alberta, or an equivalent qualification and standing from a recognized institution. The admission GPA will be calculated on the last ★60 of graded coursework completed, or on the equivalent of the last two years of full-time graded coursework.
Applicants should also have teaching experience in a health related discipline. |
