Geology deals primarily with the study of the Earth and other planets: their composition, structure and the natural processes occurring both on the surface and within the interior. Field and laboratory training are important aspects in the geology program. Geology co-op students are adaptive, and are keen to learn new skills as well as to apply existing skills in new ways.
Here's what Geology students can do for you: Laboratory and Field Work, Geological mapping, Mineral and rock identification; Analysis of complex geological problems, Geochemical and petrographic analysis; and Sampling and data collection. |
