Legal assistants work closely with lawyers preparing legal documents, conducting interviews with clients and witnesses, and performing legal research.
Subjects include Wills & Estates, Corporate, Criminal, Family Law and more. Graduates will be versed in legal terminology, legal procedures, and legal document preparation using legal software. Employment opportunities are found in private practices with lawyers employed by the federal, provincial, or municipal governments, within the court system or with large corporate legal departments. |
