The Industrial Design Program offers a strong foundation of knowledge and skills so that students can enter this diverse industry as an apprentice. This intensive program teaches students the core subjects they will need in the field of industrial design; design, materials, manufacturing techniques and processes. Students are introduced to the awareness, understanding, ability and application learning with a concern for environmental and disability issues.
This program includes a practicum placement. This experience within a workplace enables Instructional staff to observe the student in a practice situation while providing the student with the opportunity to gain direct exposure to the chosen career field.
