Health services and policy research generates knowledge to address issues related to health service design and delivery and development of health-related policy. It includes such diverse areas as health outcomes research, technology assessment, knowledge translation, health economics and economic evaluation, patient/public engagement, and health workforce planning. Our master of science (MSc) program in health policy research prepares students to generate knowledge to address issues related to health service design and delivery and development of health-related policy. Students are encouraged to address issues of concern to the health system and the larger community. |

A baccalaureate degree, or its academic equivalent, from an academic institution recognized by the University of Alberta. Grade Point Average (GPA) - A GPA of at least 3.0 on most 4-point scales, or B on most letter grading systems, based on your most recent two years or last 60 credits of full-time study (or equivalent) is required. Preference will be given to those applicants with experience in a public health related field. |
