The University of Nicosia Medical School, the largest in Cyprus, offers a 6-Year MD degree programme designed for those just out of high school. This program of study provides students with the opportunity to receive a high quality education in Medicine. The general program objectives are:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. 1. Applicants from Ontario Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma (advanced level) with an average of between 80% and 90%. This must include six Grade 12 U, U/C or M courses. Some courses may specify exact grade requirements in relevant U subjects, to include similar grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Math, all in advanced level.
2. Applicants from Alberta, New Brunswick, North West Territories, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan, we require a General High School Diploma with between 80% and 90% in 5 subjects at Grade 12; to include similar grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Math, all in advanced level.
3. Applicants from British Columbia and Yukon, we require a Grade 12 Senior Secondary Diploma with an average of between 85% and 90% in 5 grade 12 subjects, to include similar grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Math, all in advanced level.
4. Applicants from Quebec, we require a Diplôme d'Etudes Collègiales (DEC) with an overall average of between 80% and 90%, and at least 80% in each subject, to include similar grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Math, all in advanced level.
5. Applicants from Manitoba High School Graduation Diploma with an overall average of between 80% and 90%, including 5 credits awarded at the 300 level in at least 4 subject areas, and at least 80% in each subject, to include similar grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Math, all in advanced level.
6. Or: International Baccalaureate with 32 overall and a combined score of 16 at Higher Level, to include Biology and at least one of either Chemistry Physics or Math.
