Graduates gain knowledge of general organization protocols, standards, recruitment strategy and processes as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to succeed as a human resources coordinator.
Students have the option of either a 4-week full-time practicum placement or a 4-week 160-hour capstone course.
A practicum is where the student works full-time in the industry alongside industry professionals for four weeks. A capstone is an authentic, work-based project that integrates and synthesizes the program learning outcomes to demonstrate mastery of the skills and concepts required for employment in the industry.
