Description:

This red seal program involves automation in the production of various commodities. Complex process control and measurement systems such as those found in the oil and gas industry, chemical plants, food processing operations, and the pulp and paper industry require sensitive and accurate instruments. Some of the duties include: Repair, maintain, calibrate, adjust and install industrial measuring and controlling instrumentation, Ensure plant machinery is safe and operating correctly, Regulate water flow and air quality, Monitor and calibrate instruments, Read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints and schematics, Inspect, test, diagnose faults, Write maintenance reports, Repair, calibrate components and instruments, Perform schedule preventative maintenance, and Observe safe repair procedures according to regulated standards
