These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants are eligible to apply to the program if they have earned a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in education or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 12 units of their post baccalaureate transcript. A GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be considered for provisional admission. Interested learners can potentially pursue an option that does not lead to a certificate with a GPA below 2.75.
