Music moves us. Studying music can mean advancing your musicianship as well as your critical understanding of music and its context. With the Bachelor of Music program, you'll learn music skills, history and theory. You'll also benefit from private studio lessons and ensemble participation. In the Bachelor of Music (Honours) program, you can choose a specialization such as Music Performance (Orchestral Instrument) towards the end of the first year, once you have had the opportunity to assess your particular strengths and interests. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. For admission to this program, you must demonstrate at least a Level 10 Royal Conservatory of Music performance standard, or equivalent, in the orchestral instrument, as well as evidence of exceptional performing ability.
Please note that all course prerequisites pertain to an Ontario curriculum. For curricula in other parts of Canada or international countries, please refer to our Admissions Requirements website. |
