Deepen your understanding of the Christian faith and life by exploring its Biblical roots, theological framework, missional thrust, ethical calling, historical development, and global context. Redeemer's Biblical and Theological Studies program leans into the rich diversity of denominations represented on campus to develop a deeper understanding of how theology, the Bible, and worldview collide and remain relevant for modern Christians. Right from the start, you're gaining an understanding and critical appreciation of the basic features of Christianity: its Scriptures, history and theology, that equip you to defend and live out your faith. First-year courses provide a broad overview of topics that are critical to the Christian faith, including a foundational understanding of the Bible. Class discussions, lead by dedicated and experienced professors, give the opportunity to understand worldview from the perspective of other denominational and cultural backgrounds.
