The Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree is designed to prepare you for a professional career in music, either as a performer, teacher, composer, theorist, historian or critic.
As a Bachelor of Music graduate, you'll be prepared for career opportunities in areas such as performance, education, arts management, and audio production and design. Your degree can also be used as a stepping-stone to graduate studies or another professional degree such as law, medicine or veterinary medicine.
This five-year program leads to a Bachelor of Education from the Werklund School of Education and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Faculty of Arts. A minimum of 150 units must be successfully completed.
