The Rheumatology Subspecialty Residency Training Program program is one of five subspecialty residency training programs currently offered by the University of Saskatchewan (Cardiology, General Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Respirology being the other four). The program is currently a two-year fellowship. Subspecialty residents receive training principally at community clinics in Saskatoon and at Royal University Hospital. As well, time is spent in community clinics in Regina each year. Training is heavily geared towards Royal College requirements and trainees receive excellent preparation for the RCPSC Internal Medicine examinations. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Application for University of Saskatchewan entry level positions in Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada specialty training programs or first-year Family Medicine training programs must be made through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS).
