This concentration focuses on students capacity to assess the factors that affect and determine the nursing workforce including making strategic and effective decisions, and influencing policy with regard to the planning and management of the nursing workforce.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants with a general BA or BSc are considered for admission to a qualifying year of study in preparation for entry to the MSc(A) in Nursing program. The applicant’s undergraduate record must meet the minimum general requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, which includes a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or a high “B” standing in undergraduate studies. Individuals prepared in another professional discipline or who have begun preparation in nursing in other programs are not eligible.
