The Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LATHE) graduate certificate is designed for doctoral students who plan to pursue a career teaching adults. You’ll complete courses, workshops and guided experience and will gain an understanding of current research, paradigms, and approaches to teaching. Your training in LATHE will make you a more effective and employable instructor. The LATHE program is usually taken in conjunction with your doctoral studies. Applicants must be UVic students. |

are a registered PhD student at the University of Victoria
possess a GPA of 6 (B+ average) or higher in your master's degree |
